About Lisa
Lisa has been managing residential property in the greater Austin area since 1985. As the Owner of Merit Properties, Broker, and real estate investor, she is directly involved in the daily operations of Merit Properties. Lisa is a member of the Austin Board of Realtors as well as an active member of the Austin Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers.
Lisa grew up in a small town outside of Austin called Rockdale. She prides herself on her small town values and believes that her friendly and personable skills have been a huge asset to her success...plus her mother was a realtor and she grew up in the business. She is very close with her family.
Lisa graduated from Tyler Junior College in 1984 with an Associates Degree in Business. She made Austin her home and began her real estate career at the age of 20. She is a broker affiliated with Keller Williams Realty.
Lisa is married and has two precious four-legged friends named Baily and Bosco. Lisa’s hobbies include taking pictures, videoing, scrapbooking, shopping, and traveling.
About Melanie
Melanie Hillin has worked closely with Lisa as her full time assistant for the last eight years. In 2003, Melanie got her real estate license to assist in the leasing and selling of properties. She is responsible for all of the marketing for the available properties. She also is the Assistant Property Manager and helps with coordinating maintenance issues when needed. You will find Melanie to be very personable and always willing to help.
Melanie attended Texas A&M. She has two beautiful children that keep her busy when she is not at work. Her hobbies include scrapbooking, spending time with her family, and traveling.
About Richard
Richard joined his wife, Lisa, in the real estate business in 2003. Originally from California, he made Austin his home in 1997 and Lisa his wife in 2001. His background includes 15+ years of experience in marketing and management. Richard is also a member of the Austin Board of Realtors and his primary focus is on sales, leasing and new customer development. His degree, in Computer Electronics, makes him very detail oriented. His hobbies include; fishing/boating whenever possible, playing guitar, trips to the coast and traveling with his wife. Richard and his wife Lisa are Real Estate investors as well and have extensive experience with properties of their own in the local Austin area.
